Michele Bachmann wants armed revolution against an energy tax.

No kidding. Here’s what she said in March of last year:
“I want people in Minnesota armed and dangerous on this issue of the energy tax because we need to fight back. Thomas Jefferson told us, having a revolution every now and then is a good thing, and the people — we the people — are going to have to fight back hard if we’re not going to lose our country. And I think this has the potential of changing the dynamic of freedom forever in the United States.”

No word on how exactly she thinks an energy tax would cause us to lose our country, or to whom (gasp — Americans with whom she disagrees?), or what exactly “the dynamic of freedom” even means. But more importantly, this basically calls for people to shoot other people over policy differences. Bet the NRA considers this “responsible gun ownership.”

Audio captured by the good folks at DumpBachmann, which we may as well admit does what we are trying to do but for longer and more locally.
